Running Achievements Version 1.8.7 Released

This week we released version 1.8.7 of Runnning Achievements (smadges).

This new version includes new challenges and regions:

Volunteer Role

The new 'parkwalker' Volunteer achievement, has been added.

This is a new role introduced by parkrun, here is what they say about the new role:

"The parkwalker is a friendly face(s) who provide support and encouragement to walkers, as part of our commitment to increasing the number of people who walk at our events.

During the event, the parkwalker(s) will be positioned ahead of the Tail Walker but behind those who are running. They will provide encouragement and support to anyone who is walking and ensure everyone who is walking feels part of the parkrun community.

parkwalkers will also play an important role in highlighting the inclusive nature of parkrun to those who are yet to take part… just by being there."

New Challenge: Veni, Vidi, Vici

This is one for Italy, to complete all the runs in Rome!

New Challenge: Albaloopy

New Challenge: Cassaberteer
