MegaWars is listening to the community of fans already!
During our interview with developers Crimson Leaf, a suggestion from HollettGaming has already gone into the alpha development phase of the game, before it's even got to the beta release.
This is great news for the fans of the game, showing how input and suggestions can help shape the future of the product if it benefits others playing it too.
When we caught up with Matt and David again this week, here's what they had to say about it:
"The entire MegaWars team is developing this game with the players as our core focus. We are an independent studio full of gamers who know that the success of this game depends solely on our community. If the players want it, we will do everything in our power to make it happen."
"During our discussion with Ford and the HollettGaming team, we got a great suggestion to incorporate a 'Spectator Mode' into MegaWars. We are happy to make that addition and know that it will add a great benefit to all players."
It's evident this game is going to be community focused, with a real chance your suggestions can get into the final version.
Matt goes on to explain:
"This game is 15% combat, 35% resource management and 50% social. With that in mind, the MegaWars player base is an integral part of the game. We are developing for the players."
In fact, there is no doubt this game will continue to develop way after launch with the help of the players, much like the original effort into the web based version they recreated.
"It's simple - you wanted it, it makes the game better, Let's do it!... Even after release, we will continue to make adjustments to the game that the players want."
